Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held for NeuBeam Internet

McHenry, Maryland, October 4, 2017 – On Wednesday, October 4 a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for NeuBeam Internet at their new office on 113 3 rd Street in Oakland.

Local dignitaries spoke to welcome co-founder Barry Toser and congratulate him and his team on this endeavor. Patty Manown Mash, member of the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Chair of the Diplomats committee presented Barry with a First Dollar of Profit Certificate.

NeuBeam is a broadband service provider, offering high-speed Internet and voice services to residential and small business customers in Garrett County.

“It’s exciting to have a partner such as NeuBeam to help provide high quality Internet access to our non-served and underserved areas of the county. They have been excellent to work with and the fact they have opened an office in the county shows their long term commitment to our community,” said Paul Edwards, Chair of the Garrett County Commissioners.

“We appreciate the warm welcome from everyone in Oakland and Garrett County and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship in the community,” said Toser. “High-speed Internet service is an essential part of the digital economy and we are very excited to be bringing it to Garrett County.”
